Deedee Antonelli, A.C.S.M., FMS Level 1, FMS Level 2
As founder and president of Future Shapes for over the past 30 years, Deirdre “Deedee” Antonelli has dedicated herself to providing exceptional, individualized service and innovative training to each client – members of her extended “fitness family”. She has brought together a highly skilled and dynamic group of trainers, working with hundreds of Future Shapes clients, whom benefit from both their expertise and energy.
A sought after expert in the fitness arena, Deedee has been featured in both Boston Magazine and Newton Magazine. Bringing her years of experience and education in exercise science and personal fitness, Deedee has expanded her services and expertise to include strength and conditioning training for the young female athlete. This includes individualized, group and team trainings on and off-site, as well as online training opportunities.
Most of all, Deedee takes great pride in the long term relationships she has developed throughout the fitness industry; as well as with each one of her trainers and clients. She holds a variety of fitness certifications, including the American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist, and as a Certified High School Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Brad Sullivan, Exercise Physiologist
Brad has worked as an experienced personal trainer for the past 20 years, and has been a senior trainer with Future Shapes for the past 17 years. Working with a diverse clientele, Brad particularly enjoys creating golf specific and boxing workouts. Over the summer, Brad runs speed, agility and sport specific training classes for athletes ages 13 through 18.
From 2001 to 2003, Brad managed the Spine Center at Dedham Health and Athletic Complex and served as an exercise therapist with the New England Baptist Hospital Spine Center from 1993 to 2003 where he specialized in lower back and neck disorders. Prior to this, Brad served as an assistant golf professional at New England Country Club for four seasons. He holds a second-degree black belt and the rank of “Needan” in the martial arts practice of Uechi-Ryu.
Brad holds a B.S. in exercise physiology from University of Massachusetts-Amherst. In his spare time, Brad coaches his three children’s soccer teams.
Emily Savard, C.S.C.S., TSAC – F
Emily strongly believes that exercise is an element to the whole healthy balance that we must manage throughout our journey of life. “Things change. What makes me sleep at night is that I bring positive energy and a wide skill set of exercises to work with a variety of clients.” Emily is passionate about helping individuals towards healthy goals and maintaining exercise into part of their daily lifestyle.
Emily is experienced in assisting with a variety of athletic injuries, on-going care, prevention, and rehabilitation. She is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as a Tactical Strength and Conditioning facilitator. She is both CPR and AED certified. Emily holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the University of Florida and continued her graduate studies in Recreational Management at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
Emily dabbles in fun: getting outside, riding things with 2+ wheels, playing in the snow, exploring new places, taking in art, enjoying a good beer/ or tiki drink, building an off-the-grid cabin with shipping containers, working out, occasionally unplugging from our wired society, target shooting, getting in touch with my spiritual side, scratching cute pets behind the ears etc. “Isn’t this what life is about? Jill Blondek, A.C.E. , N.A.S.M.
Jill has been a trainer and nutritionist with Future Shapes for over 20 years. She educates clients of all ages and abilities on functional training based on sports specifics, rehab, weight loss or whatever your specific needs may be.
Jill combines nutrition and exercise as one unit; believing that good, real food helps assists her clients at performing their best, recovery and maintaining a very happy and fit lifestyle. She follows the Mediterranean Food Pyramid which focuses on anti-inflammatory food choices, helping clients create meals that steer from additives, hidden ingredients and understanding of food portions.

Nick McDonough, N.P.T.I.

Nicholas is a Certified Personal Trainer who has been involved in the fitness industry for over 16 years. He teaches strength training and conditioning to individuals who are looking to develop strength, size, improved cardiovascular, fat loss and all around health by performing certain exercises to fit each individual’s needs. He has worked with all adult age groups, assisting them in achieving their desired fitness goals.
Nicholas performs one-on-one personal training as well as group strength training. He is a Certified Post Rehabilitation Specialist by the American Fitness Professionals Association (AFPA), Certified Senior Fitness Instructor by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Master Trainer in Healthy Eating for Successful Living, CrossFit (Level 1 Running and Endurance) and has attended NPTI (National Personal Training Institute) which is a 500 hour Personal Training Program. Kevin Lin, Muscular Therapist
Kevin is a Licensed Muscular Therapist specializing in clinical and orthopedic muscular therapy. He has been in practice since 2012, working with patients and clients ranging from the weekend warrior to the Iron Man Athlete. With a strong focus on musculoskeletal anatomy, Kevin’s goal is to help treat musculature and fascia that have become tense, adhered, tight and “knotted up” to assist in increasing mobility, decreasing pain and reducing the chance of injury.
Nina Cammarata, A.F.F.A.
Nina has been with Future Shapes for the past 17 years. With her love of training, working with people and her powerful motivational skills, she has developed a strong dedicated following. Her area’s of expertise include: developing running programs for the recreational and competitive runner, circuit training and teaching functional training regimes compatible with individual lifestyles.
Nina’s has a wide range of knowledge and experience in strength training, stress management and competitive marathon running, as well as certifications in athletic yoga, kick-boxing and Barre certified. This diversity of experience enables Nina to assist her clients in setting attainable goals and fitness success. Nina attended Northeastern University and holds the following certifications: A.C.E., First Aid and C.P.R. and AED.
Nina is a mother of three and a competitive marathon runner, having completed 18 Boston Marathons.
Christine Lee, M.S.P.T., C.S.C.S
Christine graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Performance. Christine danced professionally for several years with the Richmond Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, Fort Wayne Ballet, and Feld Ballets/NY. After she retired from professional dancing, Christine went on and received a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Christine’s experiences as a dancer and as a physical therapist enables her to create a unique approach to personal training, one which combines traditional physical therapy techniques (joint mobilization, postural training, muscle re-education, point-trigger releases, and therapeutic exercise) with modern innovative methods (Pilates mat, physio-ball, yoga, and functional training).
Christine uses these techniques to treat overuse syndromes, spine disorders, sports injuries, performing arts-related injuries, and various upper and lower extremity orthopedic injuries. She loves working with people of all exercise levels and of all ages and is committed to helping each individual achieve their goals. In Boston, she has danced with Margot Parsons, Kathy Hassinger, Rainbow Tribe, and Triple Threat and also co-founded Element Dance Company. Christine also served on the board and was a dancer for the Boston based classical Chinese dance company Dance Revelasion.
Tony Dow, AFFA
Newton, Pine Brook CC Weston
Anthony (“Tony”) heralds from New Zealand and specializes in sports specific training, core stability, functional training, and youth training. A rugby player and enthusiast since age 5; Tony is the Head Coach for Framingham State women’s rugby team and teaches the personal training course at American International College. He is an avid road cyclist, riding over 5,000 miles each year.
Tony holds an International Bachelors of Sports and Coaching, as well as the following certifications: AFAA, First Aid, C.P.R., and A.E.D. Tony is also the father of two.
Darren Schwartz, NSCA-CPT, Certified Nutrition Specialist
Pine Brook CC Weston
Darren is an experienced personal trainer and nutrition specialist. He specializes in Cardio Tennis as well as individual and personal training, often incorporating Yoga and its benefits into his clients overall health and fitness. Darren is a dedicated and passionate professional whose interests include: ice hockey, rollerblading, yoga, spin, weightlifting, cycling, hiking and kayaking.
Rose Starkman, AFFA
“I have always had a passion for fitness since a very early age. With dance being the core of my existence, after moving to the States 20 years ago, I was forced to find a different channel to express myself. Taking step aerobics classes and stepping into the weight area for the first time in my life, I just knew I had found myself all over again. It was one of these moments in one’s life that you know you are at the right place once you find it, you feel it and there are not questions about it. I know it sounds cheesy, but that’s how I found fitness in America!”
This passion led Rose to become a certified step aerobics instructor as well as a certified personal trainer both through AFAA – American Fitness Association of America.
Rose is a fitness enthusiast with passion for helping her clients overcome obstacles by not only being their trainer, but by being their coach/motivator throughout their fitness journey. She loves to prove her clients wrong by showing them that any challenge they are faced with can be achieved, as long as they have a “CAN DO” attitude. They just need to allow themselves a chance to try to succeed.
Nicole Wood, A.C.S.M.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in exercise science, Nicole began her journey in the fitness industry, culminating in the completion of the following certifications; American College of Sport Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Team Training and Kettlebell Fundamentals. Nicole is also presently pursuing a certification as a Post Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist.
Over the past 4 years, Nicole has enjoyed training business professionals, integrating fitness into already hectic lives, and working toward the goals she and her clients set together. She specifically enjoys tailoring workout programs to accommodate injuries and limitations, while still providing an effective workout. Some of her favorite sessions are working with young adults and athletes looking to get back into their sport after an injury.
Nicole spends her free time going to concerts, drawing, hiking, going to the beach, and working out regularly. Her philosophy is based on the belief that it is possible to live a healthy lifestyle without giving up all of the things you love. In her own life, Nicole has made a number of really small lifestyle changes, resulting in a weight loss of 50 pounds!

Jessica Faith Guyer
Cambridge & Newton
Jessica believes we are all flexible, strong and made to move. Since high school she has had a passion for movement and group exercise classes. In college, yoga helped her de-stress and learn about the power of mindfulness. She then became a certified yoga instructor to guide other college students in this practice. As a working profession this love for yoga expanded to Barre and Pilates training’s, enhancing her own body awareness and teaching knowledge. With over 8 year of teaching experience she provides options for all levels offering modifications and challenging variations to provide you with the right fit for that days practice. Movement brings Jessica joy and she wants to use her skills and passions to bring this feeling to others.
